Burglar alarms can be a lot of fun! I know they are for protection and everyone should have some form of alarm for all occasions, but there are some fun and exciting systems out there that could mean some serious spending for someone out there. If you were a high-tech kind of person, what type of alarm would you want for your home? Or if someone came to you with the opportunity to design one, what would it be like? Typical lasers shooting out at people, or the carefully placed trip wires, or maybe the cool voice recognition alarm system that you can control with the sound of your voice alone; like that Simpson’s episode, expect it wouldn’t have James Bond’s voice and try to kill your husband. This article was interesting as it goes over some new advances in the burglar alarms world and what is the pros and cons of these new systems.
There is so much imagination out there these days that the mind would boggle to see what exactly is out there in the form of alarms. Unless we had some serious inside access to where they come up with these ideas and where they get manufactured, i doubt we would truly know what is out there. We do get some sneak peaks at technology and security expo’s and it is hard to imagine that that very technology might become available to us so we can have it in our homes. Every time someone mentions high-tech i tend to think about Mission Impossible and the things you would have to do to get around those type of systems; it must be extremely difficult being a burglar in this day in age what with all the new advances in the security field.
A little creativeness never hurt anyone (except those trying to break into your home) and if high-tech burglar alarms are what you like then it would be good for you to have a look at what is on offer these days and see where you can check out those type of machines. Either that or you design one yourself.
