Patrol Response Alarm Monitoring
This is the same as standard monitoring but with the
addition of a guard who is dispatched to investigate the problem. Patrol response is ideal if you are new to an area and haven't friends or family handy, as well as commercial sites in the after hours and weekends.

You've gone wireless and want your alarm "monitored"
We simply add either our IP100 or PCS300 module (depends on your alarm brand, also must be under 10 years old) and connect this to your internet router.
You just need to know your password and your IP account details so we can programme the module in. Then your alarm can be monitored as normal.
*May vary slightly depending on the distance between the alarm panel and the router, and therefore the time it takes to run the cable to connect them. Your router also needs to be capable of "port forwarding" (most are).

Can my alarm be monitored?
If your alarm is under 12 years old then usually yes. You will need a live analogue telephone line and wiring access to it from the alarm panel.
What costs are involved in setting monitoring up?
- With a new alarm installation – none, it's free to set up.
- IF you already have an alarm – ideally it needs to be in good shape if it is to be monitored. We recommend our technician services it first:
- A standard service is normally $159.00 (incl GST);
- Our new monitoring client special $128.00 (incl GST).
- Connecting the alarm to your telephone (normally $79) is free.
I've got broadband!
To ensure your broadband service doesn't interfere with monitoring signals, an industry grade ADSL splitter will be needed.

Am I locked into a contract term?
No. We do have an initial monitoring agreement term of 12 months and from there it can be cancelled at any time beyond that with 1 month's notice.
Terms for Less Than 12 Months
If during that initial 12 month term your circumstances change, then monitoring can be terminated without penalty with 1 month's notice. A site visit fee of $65 may apply if we have to visit your home to disconnect your monitoring.
Direct Dial
In the event of alarm activation (only), the alarm will make a direct calls to 2 nominated cellphones or landlines. If these lines are busy, switched off or outside the coverage area this call will be lost, so direct dial is a very limited self monitoring facility but has no on going cost.
