TO INSTALL A "MONITORED ALARM"

By far the best way is to take advantage of our FREE quotation service, a surveyor will call and work out what's needed to protect both vulnerable and high value areas and just as importantly, ensure the alarm caters perfectly to hot or draughty rooms and pets (mice, cats and dogs). Often alarm hand remote controllers
can be hugely convenient to open and close the garage door as well as arm and disarm the alarm.

The surveyor will also check your phone landline can be connected into.

A generous discount is applied to the alarm price if monitoring is set up on installation. We also offer easy own HP payment terms to help to from just $200 deposit, and we support our alarms with a 5 year limited warranty.

CONNECTING YOUR EXISTING ALARM FOR MONITORING

If there is a live landline available, simply call 0800 427 747.

First we will fully service your alarm to ensure it's set up correctly and operating reliably to specification (any parts that may be needed would be extra). Usually this service is $138, the SPECIAL PRICE, just $89.00 incl. GST.

Secondly, we run a cable connection to the landline , and programme your alarm to the monitoring station. This connection and setup is FREE.

If you have broadband we may need to add a splitter (it may already be there) to avoid the alarms connection to the phone line slowing your broadband. + $94.00 incl. GST.

If you have gone wireless (so no landline phone available).

First we will fully service your alarm to ensure its set up correctly and operating reliably to specification. Usually this service is $138.00, the SPECIAL PRICE just $89.00 incl. GST.

Secondly, we add a brand appropriate 2 way internet protocol communication module so the alarm can communicate with the monitoring station, normally $395.00 installed. Just $345.00 incl GST.

Once installed normal monthly monitoring rates apply.

SPECIAL NOTE

Two things to be aware of:

1. Most popular alarm brands under 10 years old have a "Dialler" in-built (this is required for monitoring to operate), but not all. Should your alarm not have a dialler then it will be necessary to upgrade the master panel.
   
2. Many alarm installers add a "installer access code" (this to prevent accidental user entry into programming), many of which we know. We need this code in order for monitoring to be set up. The installing company will give this to you on request. If the installer is unknown, the alarm panel will need to be defaulted OR the master panel replaced, an additional cost.

Secondly, and here we need your help, we will need the previous monitoring company to give you the alarms installer access code (they are obliged to give it to you) so our technician can go into programming to set up new monitoring details. This is all set up FREE of charge.

If you have recently added Broadband we may need to add a broadband splitter. This to avoid the alarms connection to the phone line slowing your broadband.

An ADSL splitter if needed – $69.00 incl. GST.

POPULAR MONITORING OPTIONS

Am I locked into a contract term?

No. We do have an initial monitoring agreement term of 12 months and from there it can be cancelled at any time beyond that with 1 month's notice.

Terms for Less Than 12 Months

If during that initial 12 month term your circumstances change, then monitoring can be terminated without penalty with 1 month's notice. A site visit fee of $65 may apply if we have to visit your home to disconnect your monitoring.
