Visitor Intercoms FOR ACCESS CONTROLLED DOORS


Couriers – Customers – Visitors... need to advise of their arrival to gain entry.

An intercom system will generally comprise of:
1 external visitor station with a chime button and audio module and several internal audio handset stations with a door release button so having ascertained who the visitor is, the door can be released without having to go to it.

Another option is to have the front door station linked into the existing phone system. Designated phones can then be used to talk to the visitor and release the door.

Often a code pad to the outside station is involved so couriers, deliveries, supply reps can punch in a code to gain access without disturbing staff.

'Hands Free' Video Stations


The outdoor station includes a camera module and the inside station has a video screen so at a glance a staff member can release the door if the person on screen is recognised as a regular.

Video is very handy when it is a busy entry door with many regulars, as this can minimise staff interruptions.

An administration office with 1 main front entrance wanting to stop casual entry of stair dancers and the like:

1- Electronic door lock release and its power supply module to work in conjunction with the existing
fitted key locking door lock.

1- Hydraulic door closer to ensure the door re-locks after use.

1- Intercom visitor station with 2 inside answering handset stations.

The type of door (solid wood, all glass, aluminium), what is currently fitted in the way of locks, how busy the doorway is, all have a bearing on what should be fitted and therefore the cost.
